This trail, which runs from Caldeira (one of the highest points on the island) to the Capelinhos volcano (at sea level), is probably the best opportunity to get to know the different habitats that exist on Faial island.
This is a hike held for nature lovers and for those who are prepared to walk more than 20 km in one day.
